In this workshop, students learn the true building blocks of Macrame. With step by step instructions, this class is perfect for beginners or students wanting to buff up on their knot knowledge.
Students will learn techniques such as the Square Knot, Spiral Knot and Wrapping Knot. We’ll cover how to pick out, purchase, measure and cut rope for future projects. How to design your own macrame pieces and where to find inspiration.
Everyone leaves with a finished Macrame Double Plant Hanger and a terra cotta pot and saucer to fit. Solo students are encouraged but feel free to sign up with a friend, colleague or family member to create a special memory with.
All materials are provided for you and included in the ticket price. Snacks and beverages will be available to keep us feeling refreshed and relaxed.
Macrame Plant Hangers
Art Instructor Christine Munroe, of Language of Knots, has taught dozens of Macrame Workshops throughout California, New York and New England. Her patient and encouraging nature allows students to find their artistic side and better understand how to access their creativity throughout their daily lives.
